Quotes

"I am pleased that Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions is supporting these 26 projects, which will benefit families in a number of Avignon?La Mitis?Matane?Matapédia communities and across the rest of Bas-Saint-Laurent. The Canada 150 Community Infrastructure Program aims to maintain and upgrade our community infrastructure so that Canadians and their families can enjoy cultural, sports, recreational and leisure activities for many years to come."

Rémi Massé, MP for Avignon?La Mitis?Matane?Matapédia

"This investment targets a community building project to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary. And what better way to mark this milestone than by celebrating the places that bring us together?the places that allow us to stay fit, unwind and connect with our friends and neighbours. That's how we establish the bonds of common understanding and friendship in a country where people come from every corner of the world. The values of openness, diversity and inclusion that define all Canadians are forged in our community spaces."
