"We are humbled by the superior quality score we earned," said Neil Bedi, Chief Executive Officer. "The health of our patients is our top priority."

In addition to being recognized for its exemplar quality of care, CMS also reported that MAXhealth earned a shared savings of nearly $7 million dollars for 2016.  Only 31% of ACOs nation-wide earned shared savings for CMS in 2016. MAXhealth's savings ranked in the top 10% of all ACO's in terms of medical savings, and in the top 10% of ACOs in the State of Florida.

"Our administrators, physicians, and staff understand the high-level of diligence that must be maintained to deliver first-rate care while lowering costs at the same time," said Inita Bedi, Chief Operating Officer. "To reap these sorts of benefits provides our team with tremendous motivation to continue our efforts."

By streamlining its clinical processes and enhancing its coordination of patient care, MAXhealth generated $904.54 in saving per patient, equating to an overall 8% medical cost savings.

"Helping our patients achieve better health and eliminating much of the tremendous costs often associated with such care should be every physician's mission," said Scott Clulow, DO at Manatee Family Physicians, a member of the MAXhealth primary care network. "With all the changes occurring in healthcare today, I'm proud to be a part of an organization like MAXhealth where everyone is keenly focused on the objectives that matters most to our community."
