Largest Sustainable Program Ever to Help Veterans Launches in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mobile phone customers can be part of the largest sustainable program in history that will help those who once put their lives on the line to keep our country safe. ROK Mobile, home of the best deal in wireless communications, will launch a unique program that allows new customers to help impoverished or homeless veterans of the U.S. armed forces when they select new mobile service for themselves.

The Connect2Vets program strives to be the largest sustainable program ever conceived to help vets, with a goal of connecting every one of the nation's 1.5 million impoverished or homeless military veterans with a free bundle of important life services, a free mobile phone and free mobile service for as long as they are in need.

"Connect2Vets is committed to be the ROK for our homeless and impoverished vets.  It is our social and moral responsibility to take care of the men and woman who selflessly served and sacrificed their lives for our country protecting our freedom," said ROK Mobile Co-founder and Chairman Jonathan Kendrick.

How Connect2Vets Works ? And How You Can Help

For every two customers who visit the Connect2Vets web site and switch an unlocked mobile phone to a ROK Mobile MOAB (Mother of All Bundles) plan for $59 per month, an impoverished or homeless vet will receive a free mobile phone, free mobile service, and all MOAB life-services while they are in need. The MOAB Plan includes the following:

For just $15 per month you can purchase the MOAB and receive all of those benefits without having to buy a mobile plan and you can still help an impoverished or homeless vet.

The program kicks-off in Los Angeles with the support of the Salvation Army. Connect2Vets will be extended across the country in the coming weeks.

"We believe that connection is the cure and the basis for not feeling forgotten.  All we need is 100,000 people to participate to impact the 50,000 homeless vets across the U.S." said Anthony Moreschi, BSB/M USASOC veteran and CEO, Connect2Vets. "We hope that our country's veterans and patriotic Americans including, ROK Mobile customers, will rally around this cause."
