The Fête des neiges de Montréal unveils the official programming of the 2018 edition

Just in time for Christmas, take advantage of the ACCROPASSE pre-sale and give your loved ones a memorable winter experience!

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 13, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - It is with enthusiasm and excitement that the Société du parc Jean-Drapeau officially announced yesterday the programming and the new features of the 35th edition of the Fête des neiges de Montréal, presented by Tim Hortons.

Since a snow fest without much snow just would not be the same, the start of this year's festivities has been pushed back a week from the past years' schedule to allow visitors to enjoy weather conditions that are more conducive to winter activities. As a result, the 2018 edition will be held at Parc Jean-Drapeau over four consecutive weekends, from January 20 to February 11.

Activities and shows for the entire family

Artists will be performing on stage throughout the Fête des neiges, putting on outdoor shows in an invigorating winter environment. Meanwhile, on these four festive weekends, people of all ages will be able to indulge in more than 20 different activities, most of which are free, including several new features that the entire family will enjoy.

Challenge your fear of heights by bravely making the Big Jump. Bring out the lumberjack in you and come try your luck at Axe throwing. Or set out on adventure on the Mont Boulé to discover the history of the Parc as you travel on the trail Two islands, a park, and a city...

For a well-deserved break, visit the Zone Faim de loup to grab a bite and enjoy intimate music performances from traditional artists.

Many of the popular activities at the Fête des neiges de Montréal will also be back this year, including the Ice Ship, Dogsledding and the Snow Scooters Télé-Québec, to name just a few. Visitors can also enjoy a totally renovated Plaine Tim Hortons that includes the Ice Slides, the Zip-line and the Skaters' Path.

Visit the parcjeandrapeau.com to check out the full schedule of this 2018 edition of the Fête des neiges de Montréal.

Enjoy the ultimate experience with the ACCROPASSE and avoid the lineups

Most of the activities at the Fête des neiges are free, but for hardy adventurers that can never get enough thrills, it is possible to buy the ACCROPASSE which gives access to the Ice Slides, the Zip-Line and the Big Jump.

For the 35th edition of the event, a time-slot reservation system will be implemented in order to avoid long lineups for the most popular activities.

In addition to providing access to these three activities during the eight days of the event, ACCROPASSE holders will receive an array of advantages, including free admission to the Biosphere, Environment Museum, and the Stewart Museum, as well as discounts on skate rentals, dog-sled rides and food concessions.

Enjoy a 25% discount by purchasing your ACCROPASSE during the pre-sale, now until January 19, at parcjeandrapeau.com. It's an ideal opportunity to offer an experience they'll remember for a long time.
