Astellas Appoints Anthony Fiordaliso to Vice President, Americas Finance

NORTHBROOK, Ill., Dec. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Astellas today announced Anthony Fiordaliso, M.B.A., C.P.A., has been promoted to vice president, Americas Finance, reporting to Stephen Knowles, senior vice president, Finance and Information Technology. 

"Since joining Astellas in March 2010, Tony has held positions of increasing responsibility and has made significant contributions to our Finance organization in the Americas," said Knowles. "Tony's depth and breadth of knowledge and experience in finance related to the pharmaceutical industry position him well for his new role."

In his new position, Fiordaliso will oversee managerial reporting and budgeting, financial planning and analysis, revenue forecasting and recognition, collaboration finance and expense management for Astellas Americas, which includes United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia and the rest of Latin America.

Previously, Fiordaliso served as executive director, Commercial Finance. Prior to joining Astellas, Fiordaliso held operations and finance positions of increasing responsibility culminating in the role of director, U.S. Financial Operations, at Schering-Plough, now Merck.  Before Schering-Plough, he served as senior internal auditor at Warner-Lambert, now Pfizer. Fiordaliso began his career at Ernst & Young, now EY, as staff auditor performing financial audits of hospitals and healthcare related entities.

Fiordaliso holds a Master of Business Administration from New York University Stern School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Rutgers University. He achieved licensure as a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey in 1998.
