DALLAS, Dec. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Eclipse Aesthetics, LLC is proud to announce the company's top-selling Theradome® has garnered a prestigious award from THE Aesthetic Guide®. The Theradome has been honored with THE Aesthetic Industry Award in 2017 for Best Hair Restoration Device.

"THE Aesthetic Guide is honoring those companies that have developed pioneering products and technologies in medical aesthetics via THE Aesthetic Industry Awardstm," per the popular industry publication. "Celebrating a field that continues to push the envelope with state-of-the-art innovations, winners were chosen by an esteemed panel of judges in a wide range of treatment categories."

The Theradome® distributed by Eclipse offers the world's most advanced technology for hair restoration that can even be utilized from the comfort of one's own home. This is not like Light Emitting Diodes (LED) devices. Theradome's laser light targets the stem cells at the base of hair follicles. This action allows the formation of a new photonic pathway that can restore hair to a healthy state. The advanced, proprietary laser technology delivers maximum energy (> 440 joules per treatment) and penetrates the scalp at a wavelength optimized for clinical hair restoration (678 ± 8 nm). With its 80 high-efficiency lasers, it delivers therapeutic power while providing a maximum scalp coverage of 582 cm² and generating less than 1° C of heat per a 20-minute session (used twice a week).

"Being selected as the best hair restoration device for 2017 is a great honor," said Tom O'Brien, CEO and Founder of Eclipse Aesthetics. "The Theradome® popularity, reliability and clinical efficacy has proven to be a standard of care for many of our customers."

"We look forward to bringing many new offerings to market," Mr. O'Brien added. "We are confident these products shall advance hair restoration to the next level in the days ahead."
