"I'm thrilled to accept the 2017 Best of GayCities "Travel YouTuber" Award!" Davey Wavey reacted upon learning of his win, "I've been sharing LGBT content with my audience for more than ten years - and taking viewers on globe-trotting adventures to learn about our community, our culture and, in turn, ourselves. It feels silly being honored for doing something that you love doing, but I'm grateful for everyone who has been a part of this journey."
Q.Digital CEO Scott Gatz said the awards program would not have been possible without the intense interest of GayCities readers in amazing worldwide destinations. "It's the contributions of GayCities members that have made GayCities into the number one LGBTQ site and mobile app to discover where to go and what to see all over the world," said Gatz. "So it's only fitting that our members picked such spectacular destinations for this year's winners."
