Fond du Lac Mazda dealership donates $1,500 to local YMCA

FOND DU LAC, Wis., Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Every year, Mazda hosts its Drive for Good program, and this year, Holiday Mazda was proud to participate. For every hour of time that Holiday Mazda employees volunteered in their community, Mazda provided the dealership with grants for distribution to a local organization in need.

In total, through hours of community service, the Holiday Mazda team earned $1,500 from the Mazda program. In an effort to support youth and fitness in the area, Holiday Mazda chose to donate all of the 2017 proceeds from the Mazda program to the local Fond du Lac Family YMCA. Earlier this month, Holiday Mazda staff presented the $1,500 check to the local YMCA in person.

To date, the Mazda Drive for Good program has donated over $15 million to local groups and charities nationwide through its dealerships while also providing over 250,000 hours of community service. Holiday Mazda is proud that it could do its part right here in Wisconsin. The Drive for Good program is just one of the many programs that Holiday Mazda and its affiliated dealerships participate in throughout the year.
