Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles Offers Replace Your Ride Program

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Replace Your Ride is a financing program offered by Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles. Up to $9,500 is available to put toward the purchase of a new vehicle for qualified prospective buyers. This program's goal is to recycle older, less environmentally-friendly vehicles in favor of more efficient cars. Launched by the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the Replace Your Ride incentive program is designed to help low to moderate-income residents purchase newer and more efficient vehicles.

Los Angeles-area residents may be eligible to receive between $2,500 and $9,500 to buy a cleaner vehicle with a better fuel economy. Eligibility dependencies include income level, vehicle model purchased and where the participant lives. Shoppers with low-income earnings who live in environmentally-disadvantaged areas will receive the highest incentive amount if they purchase one of the cleanest and most efficient models available. Eligibility requirements can be found on the Replace Your Ride program's website. 

In addition to meeting the income requirements shown on the program's site, qualifying participants must live in the South Coast Air Quality Management District. This district includes all of Orange County and much of the Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. They must also own a vehicle that falls in line with the program's requirements. Interested participants are encouraged to contact Volkswagen of Downtown Los Angeles after checking their eligibility.
