Santa Returns to The Christmas Casino at Rising Star Resort in Indiana

RISING SUN, IN--(Marketwired - November 30, 2017) - Santa, Mrs. Claus and the elves return to the Rising Star Resort in Rising Sun, Indiana this fall for a one-of-a-kind holiday season experience at the "Christmas Casino" through Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

The Rising Star Resort will once again be transformed into a whimsical, winter wonderland, in the midst of popular table games and slots complete with holiday music, animatronic characters complimentary eggnog and even live reindeer nestled along the festively lite driveway. The casino entrance features a hot air balloon with a Mark Roberts' fairy tree on the casino grand staircase and an extraordinary 20-foot themed Christmas tree in the pavilion.

New this year is a Christmas Market Village that offers a wide variety of seasonal merchandise with items such as authentic European Heritage Gifts handcrafted candles, wooden nutcrackers, Black Forest heirloom cuckoo clocks, gingerbread houses and more. Also new is Kringle's Confections, featuring freshly made doughnuts, hot chocolate and other seasonal offerings.

The celebration begins with a visit to Santa's Stables near the entrance to the resort, where Santa's eight reindeer will stay to get ready for their round-the-world trip Christmas Eve. Santa will be on hand at Santa's Special Corner to visit with everyone.

The celebration of the season features an imaginative 12 Days of Christmas theme, five distinctive animated scenes with hundreds of props and 50 customized figures.
