Mark Your Calendars! The ARThritis Soirée returns May 17, 2018

Featuring an up-close and personal performance by the amazing Canadian artist, Colin James!

VANCOUVER, Nov. 21, 2017 /CNW/ - Celebrating its sixth year as the signature fundraising event for Arthritis Research Canada, the 2018 ARThritis Soirée will return to The Roof at the Hotel Vancouver on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

Each year, the ARThritis Soirée highlights a different art form representing the holistic benefits of art when coping with a chronic disease like arthritis. Arthritis Research Canada is thrilled to announce this year's art form of music will be presented by the amazing Canadian artist, Colin James.

Representing City Square Shopping Centre as Presenting Sponsor and as Chair of the Arthritis Soirée, Naz Panahi is thrilled to be at the helm of organizing the Soirée for a sixth year, and making it bigger and better than ever. "We are so excited about the 2018 ARThritis Soirée and all it has in store! Last year we raised a record-breaking $390,000 for arthritis research. With arthritis affecting more than 5.2 million Canadians, we need to build on this momentum and continue to raise much needed funds to find answers and save lives through research. The Soirée is an excellent opportunity to elevate the level of awareness about arthritis to substantially increase the funding to support research."

Drawing business and community leaders, philanthropists, healthcare professionals, donors, and more, the Soirée is presented as an elegant cocktail reception, allowing guests to circulate and network. There will be something for everyone?excellent hors d'oeuvres, champagne and wine, as well as an amazing raffle, live and silent auctions, and of course an unforgettable performance by this year's musical guest.

The need to support arthritis research has never been greater! Arthritis now affects one in six Canadians and is Canada's most costly, chronic disease.
