Thompson Education Center attended President's Roundtable Meeting
NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- On October 25th, 2017, Ms Sherry Li, CEO of Thompson Education Center, was invited to attend the Roundtable and Dinner Reception at Dallas, Texas. United States President Donald Trump, Ronna Romney McDaniel, Chairwoman of Republican National Committee and other political leaders also attended.
During the meeting, Ms. Li addressed the President and started a discussion regarding Chinese investments in the United States and how it can help to promote employment and business development. After the meeting, Ms. Li spoke with Donald Trump Jr. regarding the topics. Later in the evening, Ms Li joined the Trump Victory Dinner and exchanged views with numerous guests.
The following day, Sherry participated in a Roundtable Meeting in Manhattan, hosted by the New York State Republican Committee. The meeting was lead by the Chairman of the New York State Republican Committee, Edward Cox. Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel also attended. Discussions in the meeting included current events and news of interest and ways to develop Chinese investments in the United States and improve employment to stimulate the U.S. economy. Chairwoman Ronna Romney expressed positive support on events to support better economic development in the United States.
On November 9th, 2017, CEO of Thompson Education Center, Ms Sherry Li and Board of Director General Manager Lianbo Wang were invited by Edward Cox, Chairman of New York State Republican Committee, to dinner reception, which was held at The Harvard Club of New York City, Chairman Edward Cox and New York City Finance Chairwoman Chele Chiavacci Farley hosted the Reception, with co-hosts Russell L. Carson, John K. Castle, and Ambassador H Russell Taub, Congresswoman Claudia Tenney was also invited as a special guest to the dinner.
At the reception, Ms Li briefly discussed current policies and recent breaking news with Ms Tenney and other business and political officials. They all hope the economic situation of United State is able to receive more improvement, and that the unemployment rate will decrease which will result in a better business development.
The Thompson Education Center project will help create many jobs and stimulate the local economic development. Numerous jobs will be created throughout each phase of the entire project, such as real estate agents, professors, instructors, and workers, etc. Aside from the jobs directly created from the project and the daily operations on the location, there will be a ripple effect throughout the community. Thompson Education Center will be completed in Town of Thompson. The project will build a high-end education community in Sullivan County, New York. According to the economists' employment report, the project can create 2006.4 jobs per phase. The project has received strong support from local governments, institutions, small businesses and residents.
