"We are honored to be recognized by The Boston Globe for the community we've worked so hard to build at LevelUp," said Seth Priebatsch, the company's co-founder and Chief Ninja. "Culture is at the center of our company's core values and we pride ourselves on being a place our employees want to come to, and be at, every day. Building a business is challenging, but being able to do that and come out of it with a group of people that are motivated and intelligent and can be recognized for all of their hard work is very meaningful."

LevelUp empowers employees to be innovators and learners while encouraging them to acquire new skills to advance their personal and professional development. Whether it's through artistic ability, technical acumen or interpersonal skills, LevelUp embraces each employee's unique ability to continually improve. This year, for the first time, LevelUp was recognized by the Boston Business Journal as the number one "Best Place to Work" in Boston among midsize companies (100-249 employees). The company was also recognized by BostInno as one if its 50 on Fire nominees earlier this month. Since January, LevelUp welcomed more than 100 new employees, bringing the total headcount to 205.

LevelUp was ranked 6th in the "Top Medium Employers" category.

"Our winning companies are all in on a secret," said Katie Johnston, the Globe's Top Places to Work editor. "Treating employees well isn't that difficult, and the payoff -- increased morale, retention, and productivity -- is huge."
