Modine Presents ECO-Branded Coolers At SIFA

RACINE, Wis., Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Modine Manufacturing Company (NYSE: MOD), presented its ECO-branded coolers at the three-day Salon Interprofessionnel du Froid et de ses Applications (SIFA) trade show in Paris, France. This event has become the place to be for refrigeration professionals and is dedicated to all refrigeration players. It is a gathering point where installers meet with suppliers and end users of different sectors like agro-food, large retailers, storage, data centers, building trade or heavy industry.

The refrigeration industry, both in France and across Europe, is rapidly evolving, due to the introduction of the F-Gas directive, which calls for the phase-out of high GWP HFCs and the market need of energy efficient solutions.

This year's edition of SIFA greeted more than 3,000 sector operators interested in understanding the new scenarios. The SIFA program also included conferences and sessions that provided specific information to major concerns related to global refrigeration issues.

Modine had many important customers in France and participated as an event sponsor, with a stand dedicated to the presentation of the new ECO-branded commercial coolers. A brand that Modine acquired at the end of 2016.

In Paris, Modine had the privilege of opening the conference sessions with a presentation entitled "Nouveaux produits et solutions dans une industrie en evolution," promoting concepts related to energy efficiency, natural refrigerants, understanding and implementing the relevant new rules and regulations in force.

"It was an exciting opportunity to meet with many of consolidated and prospective customers and also a very important occasion to showcase Modine and its comprehensive range of ECO-branded products," confirms Valerio Fabbretti, Sales Manager. "Important events like SIFA allow us to get an immediate assessment of the trends in progress, especially today with an industry that is rapidly evolving and prompting operators to define new strategies for the future."

Umberto Di Barbora, Global Product Manager for Commercial Coolers, adds, "It was very important to be present at SIFA with our products and our commitment to introduce new technologies. The interest in improving energy efficiency is significant, the market is calling for clarity and practical solutions that Modine is certainly able to provide. On display at SIFA were two explanatory products,  a CO2 cooler of the KCE Ø800mm series, equipped with cutting-edge engineering solutions, with a fully-protected heat exchanger thanks to Modine's patented E-Coat ElectroFin® technology; and a CGC CO2 unit cooler with three Ø315mm fan motors, featuring the latest in terms of fan motors and components that increase the unit's efficiency."

Modine is committed to providing the market with up-to-date solutions and is convinced that a forward-looking technological advancement of the entire compartment, in compliance with the new rules and regulations, is indispensable.
