Ladera Sports Center Announces Results for Last Week's "The Judgement" Basketball Tournament

LADERA RANCH, Calif., Nov. 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Ladera Sports Center announced today the results for "The Judgement," a two-day basketball tournament for boys in second through eighth grades that took place November 4 ? November 5.

"The second event in Ladera Sports Center's eight-series basketball tournament, and our largest tournament to-date, 'The Judgement' was truly a success," said Steve Williams, chief executive officer of Ladera Sports Center. "All 132 teams that competed brought a fun and competitive energy as well as impressive basketball skills."

Teams competed for individual awards and trophies in divisions split by grade. The results were:

• Bakersfield Elite Basketball, 2nd grade championship game;
• Team Nikos Black, 3rd grade championship game
• Bakersfield Elite Basketball, 4th Bronze;
• LVBA, 4th Copper;
• Youball, 4th Gold;
• Bakersfield Elite Basketball, 4th Silver;
• Team Nikos Blue' 5th Bronze;
• Team Nikos, 5th Gold;
• JW Basketball, 5th Silver;
• JW Basketball, 6th Bronze;
• OGP HQ 11u Black, 6th Gold;
• Team Nikos Long Beach, 7th Bronze;
• Pre-Eminent, 7th Copper;
• Team Nikos Elite, 7th Gold;
• OGP HQ Black, 7th Silver;
• Team Level, 8th Bronze;
• OGP Stampede Blue, 8th Copper;
• OGP HQ Black, 8th Gold; and
• NJB Orange County Stars, 8th Silver.

The third tournament in Ladera Sports Center's 2017 ? 2018 basketball series, 'The Blueprint', will take place January 6 ? 7, 2018.

Similar to prior tournaments in the series, 'The Blueprint' will feature elite level competition, a 35-second shot clock, statistics board of all individual players, and live streaming of all games and interviews following championship games.
