Old Bridge Cellars Donates to Napa Wildfire Relief

NAPA, Calif., Oct. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Old Bridge Cellars in Napa, California today announced today a $50,000 contribution to non-profit organizations in California to support relief efforts for the significant wildfires that broke out in Napa, Sonoma, and the surrounding counties in Northern California.

The $50,000 contribution has been split evenly between two non-profit organizations: the United Way of Wine Country and the Napa Valley Community Foundation. All funds are specifically designated to support the relief efforts related to the current wildfires.

Rob Buono, President of Old Bridge Cellars, stated, "All of our employees have been affected in some way by these devastating wildfires, including many that have been evacuated from their homes. Clos Du Val, our winery partner in the Stag's Leap District, was seriously threatened by the wildfire on Atlas Peak.  We are praying for all those affected."

In the wake of natural disasters affecting wine growing regions, Old Bridge Cellars has made a charitable contribution to assist in the recovery. Their most recent effort in this area related to the wildfires that occurred in Victoria, Australia in 2009, which were the worst bushfires in Australian history and affected several vineyards in the Yarra Valley.
