"Wreaking havoc on numerous national parks and the communities they support, these disasters impact people's lives and livelihoods," said Will Shafroth, president of the National Park Foundation. "Through our new fund, people everywhere can help reopen parks, bringing back some much-needed stability to our fellow Americans."

The Disaster Relief Fund will support minor to moderate projects across the National Park System, whenever and wherever the need is greatest.
