Voladd features an advanced electronic system governed by the prestigious BeagleBone Black open source minicomputer and the Linux Debian operating system with a real-time kernel, a luxury often found in aerospace technology. All of Voladd's information exchanges are carried out following the most advanced encryption standards.

The head of the Voladd 3D Printer features an innovative dynamic airflow system. This system cools the plastic once it has been placed and does so efficiently by saving on energy consumption and augmenting the durability of the fans. The integrated smart technology of Voladd can activate and deactivate the fans in real time depending on the direction of the movement of the head.
