Baylin Technologies Announces Updates on Ottawa R&D Team

TORONTO, Oct. 6, 2017 /CNW/ - Baylin Technologies Inc. ("Baylin") (TSX: BYL) today announced updates on the new Ottawa R&D facility, and the transfer of assets from Israel to Ottawa, as well several new strategic hires for their Canadian R&D team.

Dr. Minya Gavrilovic, Executive Vice President of Innovation, is eagerly anticipating moving into a new state of the art location next month that will house combined office, lab and test facilities. In the meantime, Baylin has added several key industry Base Station antenna design experts to the R&D team in Ottawa. The addition of four RF PhD's and three mechanical engineers from the industry has accelerated expansion efforts. The Base Station development process is ahead of schedule and new products are on-track to hit the market in early 2018. 

Furthermore, the Base Station and Small Cell sales team has expanded through the recent hire of four new sales people with antenna industry experience in this market. Baylin has been executing on its strategy and anticipates that it will make significant inroads into the Base Station and Small Cell market over the next few years. Management is of the view that its strategic initiatives are already providing results.
