2017 HNA Group Global Games Kick Off in Switzerland

BERN, Switzerland, Oct. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The European version of the HNA Group Global Games kicked off this week in the Zentrum building in Bern, Switzerland. The European gathering of the Global Games featured nearly 200 athletes participating in five sport games including table tennis, badminton, football, basketball and volleyball. This is the second regional games after the successful launching of the Summer Games of HNA in the Asia-Pacific region.

The 2017 HNA Group Games in Europe featured the participation of some of the more than 240,000 employees of HNA Group portfolio companies, including employees from Gategroup, Swissport, SR Technics, Avolon, and Tangla Hotel Brussels.

Europe is one of the core regions of the HNA Group's global growth strategy. Through the games, HNA Group is working to bolster an understanding of the firm's corporate culture, values, and outlook among affiliated companies.

The games will last for four days in total, with badminton and table tennis matches beginning on the first day. During the succeeding days, activities will include 6v6 volleyball matches, 7v7 football (soccer) matches and 5v5 basketball match competitions. Participants from different cultures will have a great chance to communicate, compete, build team work, and cultivate a collaborative team spirit.
