Yes, You Can Have Fun Getting Fit

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif., Oct. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With bad news bombarding us at all hours and the world seemingly going crazy, how can we manage to maintain a sense of optimism? There is an easy, often overlooked solution to erase stress and have fun ? it's called exercise, says Sharkie Zartman.  As a professor, Sharkie has taught or coached more than 40,000 students and athletes in the areas of health, fitness and sports. "When people take time to move their bodies every day, it benefits their mind and emotions, recharges their energy as well as improves their physical health," she says.

Sharkie is on a mission to help people take an empowered approach to life and aging so they can have optimal health and success at any age. "I have noticed many positive physical changes in my students, but more importantly, mental and emotional changes from adding exercise to their lifestyles. But in order for people to exercise, it has to be fun and can't be perceived as a chore. This is especially important for people over 40, who are starting to become aware of the challenges of aging. However, if they are having fun while getting fit, their lives become more fun too because they have more energy and the physical abilities to live their lives to the fullest. And that's true no matter what is going on in the news or how old they are," Sharkie says.
