New PickUp USA Fitness Franchise Opening in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PickUp USA Fitness (www.pickupusafitness.com) announced today that they have awarded a new franchise in Tampa, FL.  This marks the first location in Florida for the fast-growing basketball fitness club chain, and joins the list of PickUp USA gyms open or in development in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas.

Founded in 2011, PickUp USA gyms are full-service fitness clubs with services focused on basketball.  Their clubs offer group and private basketball training, weight and cardio rooms, lounges, locker rooms, retail merchandise, and the company's main attraction ? pickup basketball with referees.

Darin and Nena Green are the owners of the new PickUp USA club in Tampa.  Darin, who played college basketball at George Washington University, recently left his job as a national sales director to start the first PickUp USA in Florida.  "PickUp USA is a brilliant concept," says Green.  "Ever since our first conversation with Jordan, I have been sleeping, eating, and drinking PickUp USA.  We are going to change the game in Tampa and all of Florida. Can't tell you how excited we are about this endeavor."
