The REAL Ride Cyclists Arrive In Cincinnati

BOSTON and CINCINNATI, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- On Friday September 29th five cyclists who left the West Coast in the beginning of August will be arriving in Cincinnati at Milford Success Academy. The Real Ride is an off road, backwoods, dirt trails ride from Seattle to Boston to benefit schools that serve a very special population, students who have gone off track in their educational experience.

The riders are continuing on to Boston, stopping at schools for at risk students.

The riders are coming directly to the school from the day's journey. They will meet with students in a more  intimate gathering to share about the ride, and answer questions. They will be available for interviews and photos at the school.

Rider Perri Martens said, "This has been the ride of my life and I can not believe we are more than half way home.  Yet everyday has it's own trials and we have to dig deep.  That's when I think about the kids we are doing this for."

Associate Principal Rob Hatfield said, "We are so grateful that the Real Ride  chose  our school to benefit from their ride.  Moreover, we appreciate the light they are shedding on our important mission of serving kids who have gone off track.

Through it's partnership with the Milford High School  Success Academy and four similar high schools across the country, the REAL Ride reminds us that opportunity and access to education are not just important, but that it is the cornerstone to securing our next generation's dreams.
