Astana is starting to summarize the results of the exhibition and look at ways of using the EXPO facilities now when the event has come to a close.
The exhibition became, most importantly, an international platform for discussing current policy in the sphere of energy, problems and prospects for developing alternative energy sources and energy efficiency. It contains recommendations for ensuring the sustainable development of the planet, including the transition to low-carbon and carbon-free energy sources.
In addition, Astana exhibition facilities which are to become new global places of interest will form an integral part of EXPO's legacy.
