Fracking - an Unnatural Disaster We Can Avoid

DALLAS, Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The recent hurricane in Texas displaced so many people and caused millions of dollars in property damage. But the impact reaches farther than just the immediate storm area. Oil production on the Texas coast is big business and many of the oil rigs and refineries had to shut down during Hurricane Harvey. It will take a while to get oil production back to pre-storm levels. The process of extracting oil can lead to its own natural disaster. Genesis Research and Technology Group has developed and patented a process with a green footprint for clean, chemical-free water.

Aside from the cost, the environmental impact of producing just one barrel of oil is enormous. With the fracking process, you end up with ten barrels of contaminated water for each barrel of oil. Those leftover 10 barrels of now contaminated water are trucked to disposal wells where they are pumped back into the earth. That soiled water contains a plethora of nasty chemicals and contaminates, including oil residue which 'lubricates' the earth's plates and can cause movement, resulting in earthquakes. Genesis Research and Technology Group has a mobile machine that can clean the water. That stops the seeping of chemicals into the water table thereby polluting local fresh water resources.

Genesis Research and Technology Group has the solution for both sides of the fracking conundrum. Genesis RTG has the technology to clean the frack and produce water back to a reusable state as a brackish/salt water. The oil and gas industry wins because they can reuse the frack water multiple times instead of having to pay to inject it into a disposal well. The environmentalists win because that precious water resource is reused. The community wins because there is less chance of an earthquake and/or contamination of their water source. That's a win-win for everyone in this scenario. What company wouldn't want to employ the Genesis RTG technology to prevent earthquakes and contaminated water sources?

About Genesis Research and Technology Group: Genesis Research and Technology Group is a U.S.-based company that has developed a patented, state-of-the-art technology that provides clean reusable water for the world's population.
