Kodiak Data Adds to Leadership Team to Keep Pace with Accelerated Growth

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Kodiak Data, a leading provider of edge-cloud infrastructure, announced the appointment of two new members to the executive team.  E. Casey Roche joins as Vice President of Strategic Sales; Sherri Chien-Niclas joins as Vice President of Marketing.

Roche is an experienced industry veteran; he comes to Kodiak Data from cloud startup, DBM Cloud Systems, where he was Senior Vice President of Business Development.  Before that he was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Compellon Corporation, and Vice President, Business Development at Violin Memory.  Casey earned his master's and bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.

Chien-Niclas brings two decades of marketing leadership in storage, SaaS and security to Kodiak Data.  Most recently, Sherri led global content strategy and thought leadership for the enterprise security business at Symantec.  Previously, she served as Vice President of Marketing at Cenatek and Metavize, and founded two marketing and creative agencies, circle8media and Market pH.  She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration from Stetson University.
