Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series Heads to Madison July 28th
BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn., July 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After a hugely successful midwestern debut, the Minimizer Bandit Big Rig Series travels to Madison International Speedway, July 28th.
"We had a great race in Cedar Rapids earlier this month, and it will be exciting to meet our fans in Madison for the first time," Bandit Director of Operations Brian Madsen said. "We've been racing primarily in the southeastern United States, so a few races in the Midwest will help introduce us to a new group of fans."
Emotions are running high for the Wisconsin race, and yet another sellout crowd is expected.
"They've been sold out of food and drinks everywhere we've been," team owner and driver Craig Kruckeberg said. "The response has been fantastic."
Drivers race for a $50,000 purse at every Bandit event, with the winner of the feature race taking home a $10,000 check.

"Our series is headquartered in the upper Midwest, and I know our fans will be rocking the house in Madison, July 28th," Madsen said.
The last time the Bandits hit the track, Tommy Boileau picked up his first win of the season.
"Those Iowa fans got a chance to see what this series is all about," Madsen said. "Action from start to finish."
Ricky Rude and Mike Morgan are one-two in the points standings, respectively, with Boileau moving up to third.
Seven races remain in 2017, which has seen many Bandit firsts, including the first time a father/son have competed (Bob & Tommy Boileau) as well as an entire family of Bandits (Craig, Tyler & Trevor Kruckeberg).
Grandstands open at 4 p.m. July 28th and the racing action starts at 7:30 p.m.
