WHAT:

Since its debut in 2012, the Toronto Triathlon Festival has generated over $6 million in economic development for the city. It has also provided opportunities for participants to raise meaningful dollars in support of various charities and causes, including The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation this year and the MLSE Foundation/MLSE Team Up Foundation in previous years.

One such participant is Michael Morozov, who pledged to donate $100 to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (PMCF) for every pound he lost while training for the TTF, with the goal of losing 80 pounds in 151 days. With some training help from Simon Whitfield, Michael has managed to lose a significant amount of weight, get in triathlon shape and raise some important funds and awareness for The PMCF.

Video of Michael training with Simon can be found here. Michael will be available to share his experience pre- and post-race.
