Burleson Nissan Gives Away Two New Nissan Sentras To High School Students

BURLESON, Texas, May 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Burleson Nissan, in conjunction with Strive to Drive Texas, gave a Nissan Sentra each to two lucky winners at local schools, Dianna Hodza at Centennial High School on Tuesday May 23rd and Morgan Barnes at Burleson High School on Thursday May 25th.

Students from both schools had to record perfect attendance and be present all day to earn chances to win. Students earned extra bonus tickets for recording perfect attendance during any six-week grading period. There were four additional bonus tickets awarded to students that had perfect attendance for the entire semester and applied during the fall and spring semesters.  Lastly, ten bonus tickets were awarded to each student that recorded perfect attendance for the entire year.

Eligible students were then entered into a random drawing based on their number of accumulated chances. The random drawing narrowed it to ten lucky students to receive a key to a Nissan Sentra. At each event students then tried their luck by getting in the vehicle and trying to start the vehicle with the key they selected. For Dianna and Morgan their hard work paid off and their dreams were now headed to their driveways.

"It was really amazing to see all of the students and their families that participated," said Burleson Nissan GM Justin Crain. "Perfect attendance is no small feat and being a part of this incredible event and rewarding these students is something truly special," Crain added.

In addition, to giving each student their new Nissan Sentra, Burleson Nissan will also pay all the tax, title and license fees on the day that each student and their family take possession of the vehicle.
