Friendly Honda "Cuts the Ribbon" on New Expanded Campus

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., May 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fresh off the grand re-opening of their recently acquired and renovated state-of-the-art Acura dealership in Middletown, NY, Friendly Auto Group kept their scissors in hand to "cut the ribbon" on the expansion of its Friendly Honda campus in Poughkeepsie, NY, which they are now calling "the Friendly Honda Village". The event was well attended by customers, employees of the group, senior executives of American Honda, as well as the town of Poughkeepsie Supervisor, Jon Baisley.

Over a period of more than five years Friendly Auto Group President, Eric Kahn, has worked on strategically acquiring properties contiguous to Friendly Honda. With the acquisition, rezoning and redevelopment of five residential properties totaling approximately 4 acres, Friendly Honda now sits on nearly 10 acres. Specifically, the project added space for hundreds of additional vehicles to be stored and displayed on the Friendly Honda campus

Friendly Honda has grown significantly over the last decade, becoming one of the largest auto dealerships of any brand between the metro New York and Boston markets. With the expansion of the Friendly Honda campus, Friendly Honda's loyal customers will have many more new and used cars, trucks, and SUV's to choose from on-site, which will make their shopping experience for a vehicle more convenient.

The Friendly Auto Group has been steadily increasing their presence in the surrounding communities by continuing to sponsor local sports teams and events such as K-Fest, contributing significantly to the Hudson Valley economy, and by supporting various regional charities, including the Hudson Valley Food Bank.
