Sandra K. Simpson is recognized by Continental Who's Who

WIESBADEN, Germany, May 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandra K. Simpson is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Lifetime Achiever for her Career in Military and Government Services. Sandra is a Retired Civilian Member with the Defense Logistics Agency.

A subsidiary of the Department of Defense, the Defense Logistics Agency was established to provide global logistics and support services catering to military services, civilian agencies and foreign countries during both wartime and peacetime.

Sandra began her military career upon enlisting in the US Army in 1973 where she was trained and acquired expert skills in medical logistics. In this capacity, she is responsible for all medical logistics throughout the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. To date, one of her most memorable accomplishments was when she successfully led a team that delivered medical necessities and supplies into Liberia during the unforgettable Ebola outbreak.

Moreover, Sandra's advice to someone starting out in the industry is to "work hard and learn your craft." Sandra states she learns something new every day and through her photography hobby, she gets enormous personal satisfaction in both logistics and photography. Upon retirement, she hopes to further her photography career and eventually open a business.

Graduating from the University of Vermont with her Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, Sandra went on to complete her Master of Public Administration and Master of Science in International Relations at Troy State University.
