1. Robert Bransfield, MD, DLFAPA, aside from his practice, he is an associate clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His research interests include Lyme disease.
2. Marta Cavalcanti, MD, PhD, works as a physician at Infectious Diseases Clinic, Hospital Universitario Clementino Fraga Filho in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her lab interests include infectious disease and Zika virus.
3. Khalid Eljaaly, PharmD, BCPS, CAPPS, is a postdoctoral fellow in infectious disease and antimicrobial stewardship at the Center for Health Outcomes and PharmacoEconomic Research at The University of Arizona, College of Pharmacy. He is also a faculty member in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia.
4. Jason Gallagher, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, serves as a clinical professor at Temple University School of Pharmacy and is a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases at Temple University Hospital. He is also the director of the PGY2 Residency in Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Program at Temple.
5. Jean Paul J. Gonzalez, MD, PhD, is the deputy director of the Center of Excellence for Emerging and Zoonotic Animal Diseases based at Kansas State University, which is a Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence specializing in prevention of emerging, zoonotic, and transboundary threats to US agriculture. He also mentors postdoctoral students on the Ebola virus and other hemorrhagic or highly infectious viral diseases.
6. Charitha Gowda, MD, MPH, MSCE, serves on the Infectious Diseases Physician Team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Her research and clinical interests focus on healthcare epidemiology. In addition to her clinical research, Dr. Gowda is an assistant professor of infectious diseases at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
7. Emily Heil, PharmD, BCPS-AQ ID, serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She also serves as the coordinator of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
8. Kirk Hevener, PharmD, PhD, is an academic pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist and assistant professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee. His research focuses on the field of infectious diseases and medicinal chemistry.
9. Douglas A. Holt, MD, FACP, IDSA, serves as the director of the Division of Infectious Disease & Internal Medicine at the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of Southern Florida. His research primarily focuses on the identification, prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
10. Kengo Inagaki, MD, is an assistant professor at University Hospital of The University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board-certified in Children's Infectious Diseases and his research focuses on pediatric infectious diseases.
11. Susan L. Jarvi, PhD, is chair and professor at the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She specializes in host?parasite and parasite?parasite interactions and influences on the transmission and virulence of infectious disease.
12. 12.  Madeline King, PharmD, serves as an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Her primary research fields include infectious diseases, teaching and learning, and public/global health.
13. Kerry LaPlante, PharmD, FCCP, is nationally recognized for her work in the treatment, virulence inhibition, control, and prevention of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and device-related infections. She has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts and textbook chapters.
14. Monica Mahoney, PharmD, BCPS-AQ ID, holds a doctorate in pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She specializes in infectious diseases and is interested in pharmacodynamic dosing of antibiotics.
15. Dorothy McCoy, PharmD, BCPS, is a clinical pharmacist at Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, with a primary focus on infectious diseases.
16. John Mohr, PharmD, serves as the vice president of medical affairs at scPharmaceuticals in Lexington, Massachusetts. Prior to joining scPharmaceuticals, he was a member of the Medical Affairs Strategic Solutions Team in Acton, Massachusetts.
17. Michael Nailor, PharmD, BCPS ? AQ ID, serves as the head of antimicrobial stewardship at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. His areas of expertise include infectious diseases and antifungal agents.
18. Rathel L. Nolan, MD, serves as the director of infectious diseases at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He holds certifications in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
19. Alice M. Panchaud, PharmD, is a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is a certified clinical pharmacist and pharmacologist, who trained as a teratogen information service counselor at University Hospital of Lausanne in Switzerland. Her key research topics include the effectiveness of drugs during pregnancy and lactation using various methodological approaches.
20. Michelle A. Parent, PhD, MT (ASCP) is an associate professor at University of Delaware. Her research interests include immunology and infectious diseases.
21. Cassandra D. Salgado, MD, MS, is an assistant professor for clinical research in the Department of Internal Medicine's Division of Infectious Diseases at Medical University of South Carolina. Her clinical interests include general infectious diseases and comprehensive HIV care.
22. Adriano Schneider, MS, is a PhD candidate focusing on bioinformatics and genomics at UNC Charlotte. His most recent research on Zika virus involves phylogenetic analysis, which concluded a mutation in the virus.
23. Otto Schwake, PhD, received his PhD in 2014 from Arizona State University. Most recently, he was the lead researcher on the Flint Water Study team, where he conducted studies related to pathogens in drinking water.
24. David A. Schwartz, MD, MS Hyg, FCAP, is a clinical professor of pathology at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University with research focused on the mechanisms of infection transmission between pregnant women and the fetus, with a specific interest in the Zika virus pandemic.
25. Edward J. Septimus, MD, FIDSA, FACP, FSHEA, is the medical director of infection prevention and epidemiology at HCA, Inc, in Houston. His practice interests include patient safety, infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship and resistance, and public health.
26. Audrey Stevenson, PhD, MPH, MSN, FNP-BC, serves as the director of the Family Health Services Division of Salt Lake Valley Health Department in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2015, Dr. Stevenson won the Theodore Beatty Award for sustained service in public health. Her special interest is pharmacology and immunizations.
27. Pedro Fernando da Costa Vasconcelos, MD, PhD, is the head of Instituto de Ciencia e Tecnologia para Febres Hemorragicas Virais in Brazil and a fellow researcher at the WHO Collaborating Center for Arbovirus Reference and Research in Belém, Brazil.
28. Jose A. Vazquez, MD, FACP, FIDSA, serves as the chief of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Service at Augusta University Medical Center in Georgia and is chair of the Institutional Review Board, August University. His research includes investigation of epidemiology and management of mucosal candidiasis, invasive candidiasis and systemic fungal infections.
29. Jeremy D. Young, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor and the director of the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois. He also leads the university's Telehealth Program.
30. Carmen Zorrilla, MD, is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She brings over 20 years of experience and is currently involved in the HIV Vaccine Trials Network as the principal investigator for the Puerto Rico site.
