Global Money Week Opens the Market

TORONTO, March 28, 2017 /CNW/ - Gary Rabbior, President and Kevin Maynard, VP & COO, Canadian Foundation for Economic Education joined Tanya Rowntree, VP Sales, TSX Trust Company, TMX Group to open the market to celebrate Global Money Week (GMW). Also joining them will be representatives from The Canadian Banking Association, The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, Credit Canada, Enactus Canada, Mastercard Foundation, Save the Children Canada and the University of Toronto. Held annually during the second week of March, GMW is a worldwide celebration which aims to inspire children and youth to learn about money, saving, entrepreneurship, gaining employment, and becoming responsible economic citizens. GMW is coordinated and supported by Child and Youth Finance International and The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. GMW 2017 takes place worldwide from March 27th to April 2nd.
