Colby Woods Joins Vista Investments, LLC As Vice President of Construction

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., March 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Vista Investments, LLC announced today that Colby Woods has joined the company as Vice President of Construction. Mr. Woods will be responsible for leading and managing the hotel development company's construction projects.  

Planned additions to Vista Investments' large portfolio of established, high-quality hotels include new development opportunities located in southern California's Silicon Beach and downtown Los Angeles, CA. The company hired Mr. Woods in order to fulfill its developing need for an innovative and experienced construction oversight specialist. He joins the firm following the appointment of Ross Greenman as General Counsel And Vice President of Business Development, as well as the company's late 2016 opening of a Hilton project in Glendale, CA.

Mr. Woods comes to Vista Investments with more than 10 years of experience in the construction management industry. Notable past projects of Woods' include the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, the San Bernardino Justice Center, and NBCUniversal City Broadcast Center. His past project experience ranges from hospitality to healthcare, laboratory, commercial, K-12, and higher education.

Mr. Woods, who grew up in Orange County and currently lives in Placentia, CA with his wife and two children, holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from Cal Poly Pomona University in Pomona, CA. Prior to joining Vista Investments, he held the titles of Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager with major southern California developers, including Rudolph and Sletten, C.W. Driver, and R. D. Olson Construction, Inc.
