Quebecor announces departure of Manon Brouillette

MONTRÉAL, Oct. 16, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Quebecor today announced the departure of Manon Brouillette after more than 14 years of loyal service, including the last 5 as President and CEO of Videotron. Ms. Brouillette will leave at the end of fiscal 2018, which is December 31, 2018, and at that time her name will be submitted to the Corporation's Human Resources Committee and Corporate Governance Committee for appointment to the Board of Directors of Quebecor Inc.

Pierre Karl Péladeau, President and CEO of Quebecor, paid tribute to Ms. Brouillette's vital contribution to Videotron's success throughout her years with the company and her key role in Quebecor's business plan. He thanked her for all that she has done and said he was pleased the Corporation would continue to have the benefit of her expertise as a Director starting January 2019.

Manon Brouillette said her departure was a carefully considered decision made for personal reasons. She noted that she had always worked to build a strong team at Videotron, one that could be counted on to successfully spearhead the innovative projects of the future. She thanked Quebecor and Pierre Karl Péladeau for placing their trust in her throughout the years.

Quebecor will announce the name of Manon Brouillette's successor in due course.
