Next College Student Athlete Named Official Responsible Recruiting Partner Of US Lacrosse

CHICAGO, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) today announced it has entered into a multi-year partnership to be the official responsible recruiting services provider for US Lacrosse.

"US Lacrosse is the country's premier authority in men's and women's lacrosse," said NCSA President Lisa Strasman. "Today, there are hundreds of thousands of young men and women playing the sport in many different parts of the country. We are proud to partner with US Lacrosse to help provide its high school members with the best tools and resources to navigate the recruiting process and, ultimately, help them find the school that's the best fit academically and athletically."

Founded in 2000 to help educate student-athletes and their families and assist them in navigating the college athletic recruiting process, Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) is the world's largest and most successful college athletic recruiting network.

By combining proprietary technology with specialized experts, NCSA offers a comprehensive approach to every phase of the recruiting process. As part of the NCSA network, student-athletes are able to create free profiles and have access to NCSA's robust network of college coaches. The program will be limited to US Lacrosse high school members, who will be eligible to receive a free recruiting assessment from a NCSA specialist.

"It's very important for us to build partnerships with best-practice companies and services that provide value to our members," said Steve Stenersen, president and CEO of US Lacrosse. "NCSA is a valuable resource for high school players who are interested in playing at the next level. They maintain the best interest of athletes and their families throughout the process and will help us extend their services to families that could otherwise not afford them. These were important factors in our decision to partner with NCSA."

The partnership will enable US Lacrosse to establish a scholarship program that will provide free recruiting services to selected student-athletes in financial need who also meet specific qualifications.

And, NCSA will provide educational material for US Lacrosse to share with its high school membership base, with the goal of assisting families in navigating the recruiting process.

US Lacrosse is now the fifth national governing body to name NCSA as their official recruiting partner. USA Field Hockey, USA Track and Field, USA Volleyball, and USA Wrestling all partner with NCSA to meet the recruiting education needs of their members.
