New Pop Culture Convention Coming To Reno
DENVER, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Pop Culture Classroom, producer of Denver Pop Culture Con (formerly Denver Comic Con) today officially announced the launch of their second pop culture convention, Reno Pop Culture Con (RPCC). RPCC will take place November 8-10, 2019 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada.
RPCC is a three-day, family-friendly, fan-focused extravaganza, featuring the best in pop culture entertainment. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet comics artists and writers, book authors, and celebrity guests, shop for collectibles, attend panels and programming, or visit the Pop Culture Classroom's Kids' Lab.
"We're excited to have a full-fledged pop culture convention in our destination," said Jennifer Cunningham, executive vice president of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority. "This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce a new group of unique visitors to Reno Tahoe, and it's also a great addition to the destination's extensive calendar of unique festivals and events."
RPCC is a program of the Colorado-based nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, whose mission is to inspire a love of learning, to increase literacy, celebrate diversity, and build community through pop culture education. The proceeds of this event benefit Pop Culture Classroom's overall educational endeavors.
