BRG Expands International Arbitration Practice with Addition of Leading Experts Santiago Dellepiane and Daniela Bambaci

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Global strategic advisory and expert consulting firm Berkeley Research Group (BRG) announced today that leading international arbitration experts Santiago Dellepiane and Daniela Bambaci have joined as managing directors. These hires augment BRG's strong international arbitration practice, ranked by Global Arbitration Review in 2018 as the top firm for average dollar-value of claim.

Dellepiane, who has been appointed co-leader of BRG's Economics and Damages practice, has worked extensively as an economist and valuation analyst and as a consultant for utilities and regulated and nonregulated businesses. He has been recognized over several years among the world's top arbitration expert witnesses by Who's Who Legal, which notes that clients consider him "an excellent quantum expert in construction and energy disputes; a rising star internationally."

Bambaci has worked extensively as an economist and valuation analyst in numerous multimillion-dollar, high-profile disputes in Europe, South America and the United States. Her work has involved a variety of industries such as telecommunications, natural gas production and transportation, oil production, airport concessions, hospitality, water and sewerage services, electricity production and distribution, and forestry.

Dellepiane has provided written and oral testimony or expert advice in more than 35 cases involving valuation, regulatory, damages and other issues before ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL and ICDR tribunals, and before Canadian Courts (Superior Court of Justice of Ontario and Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta). Several of his matters involve claims in excess of a billion US dollars.

In addition to testifying, she has been responsible for preparing experts for testimony, managing cases, preparing complex valuation models, performing economic analysis of regulation, assisting counsel on damage quantum sections and preparing direct and cross examinations. She has worked with experts and counsel at several hearing procedures held under ICSID and UNCITRAL rules.
