InventHelp Inventor Develops Safe Way for Motorists to Show Documentation to Police (CCT-4110)

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "Relations between citizens and police are worsening," said an inventor from Cincinnati, Ohio. "I wanted to ensure that both parties can walk away safely from routine traffic stops. For this reason, I came up with a safe, effective way for motorists to show their information."

He created a prototype for the COP STOP SAFETY KIT to display the driver's information in a readily visible location. It reassures the approaching officer that the driver's hands will both be on the steering wheel. The accessory saves the driver from having to reach for essential documentation and potentially alarming the officer. This enables citizens to avoid personal contact and danger with those in authority when pulled over by the police for whatever reason. The device helps to prevent unnecessary accidents from happening. Additionally, the invention is designed to improve relations between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more information, write Dept. 16-CCT-4110, InventHelp, 217 Ninth Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, or call (412) 288-1300 ext. 1368.
