Ferrari Energy Team Runs in Denver To Help Raise Money For St. Jude

DENVER, Oct. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Ferrari Energy Team laced up their sneakers to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Ferrari Energy employees and their families participated in the St. Jude Fun Run/Walk held in Denver on September 22nd at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital is committed to helping end childhood cancer. To achieve this goal, St. Jude provides life-saving treatment and support for children battling cancer and their families. St. Jude's work is critically important, but it doesn't come cheap. The hospital spends about $2.4 million every day just to keep its doors open, and it never charges patients or their families for medical care. Instead, all of St. Jude's costs must be covered by donations.

The Fun Run/Walk in Denver is one of the many ways St. Jude collects charitable contributions to cover the cost of childhood cancer treatments. Several members of the Ferrari Energy Team have worked hard to raise pledges for the event, and altogether they've raised $1,650 from the community ? among the most of any team participating in the event. And, to provide extra incentive for this important work, Ferrari Energy will be matching the funds our employees raise for the event.

The funds raised by the Ferrari Energy Team will help St. Jude meet its $245,000 goal for the fun run. Between donations and matching contributions, Ferrari Energy has already earmarked over $3,000 for St. Jude. This latest gift is part of Ferrari's ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts, which focus on supporting individuals with disabilities and serious medical conditions.

Ferrari Energy works directly with landowners seeking to sell their subterranean mineral rights, ensuring that they understand the process and can take full advantage of the benefits. Ferrari Energy facilitates the acquisition and management of mineral rights throughout Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, Texas, Utah and Oklahoma.
