Kodiak Sciences Inc. Announces Launch of Initial Public Offering

PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Kodiak Sciences Inc. ("Kodiak") today announced that it has launched an initial public offering of 9,000,000 shares of its common stock at an anticipated initial offering price between $13.00 and $15.00 per share pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-1 (the "Registration Statement") filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"). In addition, Kodiak intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,350,000 shares of Kodiak's common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. Kodiak has applied to list the shares on the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbol "KOD."

Morgan Stanley and BofA Merrill Lynch are acting as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering. Barclays is also acting as a book-running manager for the offering. Chardan will act as lead manager.
