Guna Nutraceuticals joins World Heart Day Awareness Celebration

BOCA RATON, Fla., Sept. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Guna Nutraceuticals, Italian manufacturers of a top-selling botanical supplement line of products, joins the World Heart Federation's "My Heart, Your Heart" Campaign.

Omega Source is a dietary supplement that offers support to help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels and promote normal blood pressure.

The World Heart Day is a global campaign celebrated on Sept. 29, 2018 and hosted by the World Heart Federation to create awareness about cardiovascular disease. According to the Global Atlas statistics that were published on the World Heart Federation's website, about 17.5 million people die yearly of CVD, from which 7.3 million are due to heart attacks and 6.2 million result from stroke.

"I promise to cook and eat more healthy, exercise more frequently and encourage my family and friends to be more active and to say no to smoking," Alessandro Pizzocaro, Guna President, said in support to the My Heart, Your Heart campaign. "For my heart, your heart and all our hearts."

Omega Source is a dietary supplement that offers support to help maintain normal blood cholesterol levels and promote normal blood pressure. Specifically, Omega Source maintains proper physiological ratio between bad (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, balanced triglyceride levels and normal homocysteine levels.

Omega Source is fuelled with top-performing ingredients like Monacolin K, which is obtained from the natural fermentation of Read Yeast Rice, micronized seed of Baobab fruit, which contains a naturally balanced ratio of Omega 3, 6, 9; Vitamin B6, Folic acid and bitter cocoa.

"The nutrients contained in our exclusive Omega Source guarantee a 'surplus' of wellbeing for the body, and naturally help you keep a healthy lifestyle," Pizzoccaro said. "We believe in the combination of a healthy lifestyle and appropriate nutrition, with supplementation of nutrients when needed. This is key for living healthier and longer."

The World Heart Federation, founded in 2000, set September 29 as the World Heart Day to raise awareness about CVD, including stroke and heart disease. Activities like exercising at least 30 minutes a day, giving up smoking and eating healthy can help prevent CVD.
