Rebel Kat Productions Launches New Film Finance Company
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Female-led production and finance team Rebel Kat Productions, has partnered with Windbreak Media to finance up to five film and television products per year over the next five years, the new partners announced today.
"We finance productions that demonstrate inclusivity across the spectrum of film production, from script to screen," said Rebel Kat CEO Rebecca Petriello. Also leading the company is Rebel Kat Productions President Nike Imoru and advisor Tyler Accornero of Windbreak.
Rebel Kat and Windbreak will advise on the sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and execution of each film, with production and financing guidance from Hollywood entertainment law firm Ramo Law PC.
The team will soon announce its first two projects: an untitled pilot and a wide-release science-fiction thriller.
