AlphaFlow Continues Expansion with Launch of New York Office, Hiring of Fintech Executives Stephan Leccese and John Woodruff

NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AlphaFlow, the first automated alternative investment platform for real estate, announced today the opening of a new office in New York City. The office launch and expansion operations will be helmed by recently hired fintech executive Stephan Leccese, who joins the firm as Vice President of Partnerships & Servicing.  John Woodruff, a former credit fund senior analyst, will be joining Stephan in New York, serving as Vice President of Investments.

"We brought on Stephan and John not just because of their expertise and deep understanding of financial technologies, but also to propel AlphaFlow forward as we continue to expand across the U.S.," said CEO and Co-Founder, Ray Sturm. "AlphaFlow is rapidly scaling ? so much so that we require a new base for East Coast operations, and expert talent in Stephan and John to pair with that expansion."

New York has long been a financial services polestar, with some of the world's most prestigious fintech powerhouses residing in New York City.  As hedge funds and other institutional investors continue to look to fintech for new asset classes, AlphaFlow's presence in New York and reputation as the fastest-growing automated real estate investment management service will position the company to be at the forefront of investment alternatives for investors.  Their office, which opens September 20, is located at 135 Madison Ave, in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.

Leccese, who will also serve as AlphaFlow's Head of the New York Office, brings over two decades of technology and financial services experience to the team. He has a unique understanding of scaling technology businesses, having co-founded and advised a number of successful companies throughout his career.  Leccese most recently served as COO and Co-Founder of Fund That Flip, a technology-enabled platform providing financing to real estate developers on single family residential properties. At AlphaFlow, Leccese will focus on expanding the Company's lender relationships which provide investment opportunities for AlphaFlow and overseeing the servicing of its loan portfolio.

"I joined AlphaFlow because of their demonstrated capability of superior loan selection and unique insight into loan performance in this growing segment of real estate investment management," said Leccese.  "I intend to leverage my expertise to scale the acquisition of loans from lending partners and successfully manage the loan portfolio to deliver outstanding performance for our investors ? and there's no better place in the world to do that than with the team at AlphaFlow."

Working alongside Leccese in New York, John Woodruff brings over 12 years of financial services experience to AlphaFlow, having previously served as Senior Investment Analyst at i80 Group, a private-credit specialty finance investment manager. Prior to i80 Group, he served as Director of Capital Markets for PeerStreet in Los Angeles. As AlphaFlow's VP of Investments, Woodruff will manage and expand the company's data-driven underwriting and analytics. Additionally, John will be drawing on his past experience in structuring and trading various mortgage credit products to continue the expansion of AlphaFlow's product offerings and overall asset management footprint.

"I am thrilled to be joining AlphaFlow. The well rounded team and relevant executive experience will be a catalyst for outperformance and success. AlphaFlow's focus on asset selection and ultimately investor returns combined with the team is a recipe for success and a positive long term impact on the sector," said Woodruff. "Even with increasing participation from institutional investors, short term residential real estate debt remains an inefficient and often mispriced market. Given our concentration on data driven analytics and technology, AlphaFlow is in a unique position to deliver alpha to our investors."
