NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Lili Gil Valletta, was recognized with the highest honor by America's largest and most prominent Hispanic business organization, the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC). The former corporate executive turned entrepreneur is the co-founder and CEO of CIEN+ and CulturIntel, an A.I. powered data science and marketing firm, helping organizations and Fortune 500's turns cultural trends into profits and growth.

"You have worked far beyond conventional business practices, recognizing the significance of consumer insight and cultural intelligence," said Fernand Fernandez, Interim President & CEO USHCC on a congratulatory letter addressed to Gil Valletta. "At the same time, you have remained a steadfast support for Hispanic entrepreneurship and a strong advocate for the greater Hispanic community," concluded Fernandez.

Gil Valletta came to the U.S. at the age of 17 leaving her family behind in Colombia to pursue the American dream. After a 10-year corporate career at Johnson & Johnson, where she co-founded the corporation's Hispanic employee group "HOLA" and held various global positions, Gil Valletta recognized the massive demographic shifts and cultural trends in the US, which inspired an entrepreneurial career that today has become a multimillion-dollar enterprise.

Her company is one of the 4.37 million Hispanic-owned businesses that, combined, contribute over $700 billion to the American economy every year, reporting a growth rate that  more than doubles that of all businesses in the U.S.

From the White House, where she has met with President Trump, to most recently presenting at the United Nations, Gil Valletta is unapologetic about sharing the undeniable power of data to accelerate innovation and impact around the world.

"This recognition serves as a reminder that there is still much work to be done to elevate our power in numbers and continue to make cultural intelligence a mainstream requirement for business growth," says Gil Valletta. "I am honored and grateful to be recognized and can't wait to continue to deliver purposeful profits impacting generations to come."

The award gala marked the closing of the USHCC national convention where local Hispanic chambers of commerce, Hispanic business enterprises, and corporate partners unite to continue to build meaningful connections and promote the sustainable economic development of the community.
