Westamerica Communications Opens New Display Graphics Division

LAKE FOREST, Calif., Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --  A fun time was had by all at Westamerica Communications' Endless Summer Party. The event celebrated the opening of Westamerica's Display Graphics Division. It also served to highlight the Wyland Foundation's efforts to help children and families around the nation discover the importance of healthy oceans and waterways.

The new printing capabilities available with display graphics allows businesses to advertise on four-story buildings, outfit entire office walls or wrap a semi-trailer with a company's advertising message.

"Display Graphics is one of the best advertising values available to our clients," says Dan Plomin, Display Graphic General Manager. "The cost per impression is one of the lowest in the industry. It's no wonder our customers are looking for more ways to use it."

The expansion fits with Westamerica's longer-term strategic plan. With a 40-year history in Orange County, Westamerica has gradually expanded its product mix. Following the merger of PSB Integrated Marketing in 2014, Westamerica positioned the company as a complete end-to-end provider of all things marketing. Today, the company boasts 120 employees operating in two locations serving clients with everything from print and packaging to creative design and mailing.

"This new facility and the new technology inside represents the last stages of a multi-million dollar corporate investment in our business," said Doug Grant, President and CEO of Westamerica Communications. "Today we are one of the most modern print and marketing operations in Southern California. Our clients have come to expect us to deliver only the best in the Marcom space and we are doing just that. These new services allow them to break through today's crowded marketing landscape and attract more customers."

Technological advancements in large format printing, also referred to as grand format printing, allows for imaging on a wide array of substrates. Wood, metal, paper, and plastic can be used to deliver a printed message, scene or backdrop. In addition, a host of fabrics can be engineered to deliver messages on everything from fabric bags to a sailboat sail. The possibilities are endless.

Delivering the keynote speech during the event was Michael-Anne Vasquez from the Wyland Foundation. A long-term client of Westamerica, Wyland is known worldwide for his work in outdoor art and his efforts to improve the health of the oceans. Vasquez spoke of how "supersizing" your message can help grow your brand.
