The patent pending GRIPPER is designed to easily remove the lids and threaded caps from water and soda bottles, condiment jars, and other containers. The invention could be particularly beneficial to the elderly, disabled, and arthritis sufferers, and could also be used to open prescription bottles, as well as in the laundry room to open bleach and detergent bottles.

This kitchen tool would also protect a person's hands and fingers from blisters, cuts, bruises, etc. It could prevent pain or discomfort when opening jars or bottles. It also is producible in children's versions that resemble fun characters or animals. This version would help children to open juice, water bottles and twist-type food packages.

The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
