New interactive pop exhibit "Fairy Island" to transcend women to wishful dreamland this month

NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Great news for busy New Yorkers looking for an outlet to express their long-awaited dreams. A new interactive pop up is soon to debut in the core of New York City this month that will transport them to an idyllic dreamland of their innermost desires. Aptly titled "Fairy Island," the exhibit will feature new magical multi-sensory installations to inspire an exciting exploratory and engaging ambience for visitors.

Fairy Island - New Interactive Pop up Exhibit in NYC

Fairy Island is scheduled to debut on September 25th in 152 Lexington Ave, New York, 10016. The exhibition will run till the middle of November, 2018.

The FIRST of its kind in a busy hard-pressed New York City, the new pop up exhibit is themed around a grand imaginary dreamland that revolves around the deepest desires of six women who reside there. Fairy Island attempts to give life to the dreams of these 6 women by creating a restful place; a place where they can enjoy the happiness of a "dream come true" experience.

Interestingly, Fairy Island is an initiative by 3 hard working and dynamic young women who often find it hard to find a restful place to pursue their dreams in the modern hectic times. Speaking about this novel pop art exhibit, the founders said-

"We are excited to introduce Fairy Island to NYC by the end of this month. We know it's a busy world today that hardly allows us the time to stand and stare. The burden is more for us women who have to tackle the professional and personal or domestic lives with equal élan. We are always so engrossed in our duties and listening to our folks that we can barely squeeze out some time for our passion, dreams and innermost desires. But we have every right to live our dreams and this is where Fairy Island comes in."

The exhibit will feature 6 rooms, one for each of the 6 women. For example, one of the inhabitants of the island is Daisy and Daisy's Secret Garden is one of the rooms in the exhibition. A young girl with a beautiful voice, Daisy aspires to become a famous singer one day. But unfortunately her family does not support her dreams. A heartbroken Daisy thus takes refuge in her secret garden she can be herself and sing with her guitar away from her parents' oppositions.

The other 5 rooms in the Fairy Island are Melody's Zootopia, Ester's Observatory, Isabel's Time Machine, Catherine's 7-Eleven and Joan's Dressing Room. Akin to Daisy's Secret Garden, each of these rooms has a story to tell and is themed around a dream of a girl who had to hide her dreams for a very long time and was never able to achieve until now.

"Fairy Island is aimed to create an escape from the real world, a place that resembles the inner world of those who live in New York, working extremely hard every day for the pursuit of happiness and the American dream. We know there are many women around us akin to Daisy or Melody and other women of the island. Our pop up is our humble attempt to give them an avenue where they can finally share their dreams with the public. We wish to extend to them a complimentary ambience which they can resonate to and where they can represent themselves at their best."

The exhibit promises a fun-filled interactive space where everyone can join in and take Instagramable pictures to flaunt on social media. Tickets are limited to ensure more space and chances of a good snap, so it is advised to purchase the tickets in advance.
