Having gathered over forty years of experience in the field of Psychiatric Nursing, Philip Sweet has established himself as an illustrious professional in the industry.  In his current capacity, Phil serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the MidMichigan Alpena Medical Center ? Behavioral Health Sciences.  Throughout his career, Phil has gained expertise within the areas of the provision of psychopharmacology medication reviews.  Attributing his success to his avid dedication to his work and his endurance, Phil is a proficient connoisseur in the field of Psychiatric Nursing.

Early in his career, Phil attained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, in 1972. Thereafter, Phil went on to attain both his Nursing Diploma from Harper Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, Michigan and his Master of Science degree in Nursing ? with a concentration in Adult Psychiatric Nursing at Wayne State University in 1982.

In an effort to further enhance his professional development, Phil is an esteemed member of several organizations including the International Nurses Association and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

In acknowledgment of his professional achievements, Phil has been a featured member of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.

Charitable to various organizations, Phil is involved in 12-Step Recovery Programs.

When he is not working, Phil enjoys spending time at the beach and on Lake Huron, as well as riding bikes with his wife.
