UAG Launches Limited Edition Artist Series Cases

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Urban Armor Gear (UAG) -- leading designers of rugged, lightweight, drop-tested mobile accessories, announced the launch of their new Artist Series in collaboration with artist Jason Maloney for iPhone devices.

As early as five, Maloney began drawing and his fascination with '80s skateboard art and video game graphics continued to ignite his passion for creating. His iconic character 'Tippsy the Elephant' was originally just a doodle on a napkin in the late 90's. Soon after, a whole cast of characters followed. Since then, Tippsy and His Friends have evolved into a fun brand of art, accessories, and apparel available exclusively at select retailers such as Jacks Surfboards, Hurley, and Wahoo's Fish Tacos. Together UAG and Maloney created an exclusive Plyo case featuring one of Maloney's more recent characters "Teddy The Bear-Bat".

The Plyo series features an armor shell, impact resistant soft core, and feather-light composite construction. The case has oversized tactile buttons and easy access to touchscreen and ports. It is compatible with Apple pay & wireless charging, and meets US Military Drop-Test Standards (MIL STD 810G 516.6).  The case is available for iPhone 8/7/6s, iPhone X, and iPhone 8/7/6s plus.
